This has to be my favourite Melina Marchetta book.
I didn't think I would like it since I am over the cliche orphan at boarding school, but it was written perfectly in a way that I can't even force myself to hate it.
I will admit that the book was a bit confusing at first and I actually went back and read the previous chapters because I thought I had missed something.
I loved these characters. They were obviously not perfect and were very flawed, yet I still loved them. Taylor was definitely a fave of mine.
This book managed to make me feel an array of emotions as well as make me laugh and cry.
It just felt so real and the romance was just beautful

Recommend this to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!        

Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta

I don't know how Melina does it but I just love this. I remember reading Looking for Alibrnadi and wondering how she was going to top that. I also liked how Francesca was friends with several guys and there was no romance or anything sexual with them like so many other books have. Francesca's friends reminded me so badly of my group of friends and how they interacted with each other. Francesca and Will's relationship wasn't over dramatic and overly romantic it felt like a realistic teenage relationship. Francesca's family wasn't perfect and there was conflict amongst her and her Dad a lot through the course of the book and came to a better understanding of each other. Her Mum's depression was written perfectly and I actually learnt a bit more about depression and how a depressed person functions

Supernaturally (Paranormalcy #2) by Kiersten White

I was honestly really psyched to read this book since I had really enjoyed Paranormalcy, but sadly this was disappointing. Evie just does a lot of whining and stupid things.

It just seemed like nothing happened and it was a bit of struggle to read through. I guess what I am saying is that it was very dull.

That being said though I will read Endlessly as I still want to know how the story will tie up and what will happen to the characters.

Shut Out by Kody Keplinger

I am in love with Kody's books. I am happy that Shut Out is just as amazing as The Duff.
Flawed characters that I still loved and cared for. The secondary characters all had great depth and weren't 2 dimensional like in most novels.
Lissa was a great POV to read from espeacially seeing how much her mum's death has effected her and isn't something just brushed aside.
Chole was absolutely hilarious and made me laugh everytime.
All the girls were actually very interesting and hearing their stories.
This brought up so many topics that I question myself and often bug me that they are just brushed off in literature as well as when talking to people about it. Espeacially the gender roles of it not being okay for a girl to have had sexual interactions with severeal guys but the other way around is okay, but is still weird for a girl to be a virgin.(espeacially in reference to Chloe and Shane)
The way these topics were brought up were done maturely and yet sounded like it was said by a teenager and was discussed among the girls was great.
Cash, I love this guy. There is so many things I could say about him but this would get too long.
I am defintely going to make all my friends and everyone I see read this book so if you see a crazy chick on the street running at you with this book, it's me.
Can't wait for A Midsummer's Nightmare to come out so I can read more of Kody's fabulous writing

Deadly Cool (Deadly Cool #1) by Gemma Halliday

First off the cover is so beautiful I could stare at it for ages.
I absolutely love Hartley she is so hilarious espeacially in the bedroom scene (you will know what I mean when you read it), I was so engrossed I was trying to unsuccessfully resist laughing so she wouldn't get caught.
I also loved Sam and Chase who were awesome sidekicks for Hartley and god Chase why can't you be real?
Although I figured who the killer was way before it was revealed I still however got caught up in the suspense with Hartley waiting on the edge of my seat for it to be revealed.
Although there was some pop cult references it wasn't completely overwhelming like in other books *cough* House Of Night *cough*
I love how it was such a simple plot and yet different from what other mysteries I have read and watched.
There wasn't a lot of romance but enough that I was thought was satisfying and still left me hungry for more. (Come on Social Suicide be out already!)
So anyone who wants to get their adrenaline pumping but still want to have a good laugh pick up this book, I promise you won't regret it.

Flying Blind (Dragon Diaries #1) by Deborah Cooke

What else can I say, I absolutely loved this book.
I havn't read any dragon books before this but it was definitely worth venturing through and I couldn't of asked for a perfect book to go into as a newbie dragon reader.
I will have to get my hands on the next book and I also found out it is actually a spin off so I better find the original book series while I am at it.(although it is not necessary to when reading this.)
All the characters were greatly developed and all weren't cast aside they all had a significance and a role to play in the story.
Zoe's point of view was great to read from and I definitely felt like a 15-year-old girl again except with awesome dragon powers.
There was enough romance that was satisfying but wasn't the whole plot of the book and I think was built up perfectly.
I love that Zoe had to work at her powers and they weren't given to her on a silver platter and other characters particularly Jared telling her to not expect her powers to come if she isn't even going to try and work at them.
Zoe was very intelligent at times and I loved watching her grow immensely throughout the book and wasn't bothered by her mistakes since there was consequences to her actions.
Although it is a spin off I didn't feel like I had missed out on anything and I understood what was going on.
I honestly recommend this book to anyone because I now want to read more dragon stories.

Paranormalcy (Paranormalcy #1) by Kiersten White

When I bought this book, I didn't think I would enjoy reading it as much as I did. It was a great breath of fresh air from the usual paranormal fantasy books currently out there.
I really loved Evie even though I don't really enjoy girly girls as much but Kiersten White wrote her beautifully that I couldn't help but love her. She is probably the most realistic 16-year-old teenager I have read in a long time and she didn't make stupid decisions to make her situation worse than it is. Although she wasn't physically strong with badass skills, she was still able to still use the abilities she had to get out dangerous situations and save others.
I loved the slow built up of her relationship with Lend instead declaring their love for each other on the spot which come on is not realistic and not something two teenagers would do.
Evie's emotions were well conveyed, I really felt her loneliness in the IPCA and especially her fear of Reth who really scared me at times and was happy that Evie didn't stick around with him and left him as soon as she saw for what he was instead of other heroines who think they are "nice" and are just hiding their "true self".
I will definitly need to get the 2nd book 'Supernaturally'
